Vanquishing the Novum: Fear, Mortality, and Authentic Existence in William Sleator's Singularity.

Abstract

This article argues that, by using a singularity to age himself rapidly, the protagonist of William Sleator's Singularity develops an understanding of a relationship between time and mortality that speaks to the principal ideas in Martin Heidegger's Being and Time. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
