Abstract

This article discusses the concept of making possibilities happen by intentionally acting outside of the familiar. The author, Grace Hawthorne, shares insights from her work at Stanford University's Hasso Plattner Institute of Design and discusses a framework for manifesting possibilities in various aspects of life. The article also explores the idea that creativity is a state of mind that can be taught and conditioned, based on a research study conducted at Stanford. Hawthorne provides three "mind dodges" to help overcome biases and negative thinking patterns, and emphasizes the importance of purpose, vision, and goal-setting in bringing possibilities to life. The article concludes by encouraging readers to shift their perspective and choose how they perceive the world in order to make great things happen. [Extracted from the article]
