Abstract

Wittgenstein's I Private Notebooks 1914-1917 i already show his doubts toward the easy use of language that he expressed later in I Philosophical Investigations i (Wittgenstein [27]). LUDWIG WITTGENSTEIN I start with Ludwig Wittgenstein's I Private Notebooks 1914-1916 i , translated and edited by Marjorie Perloff ([20]). It was sometimes difficult I to enter the spiritual life i , as can happen during the war (see Wittgenstein Notebooks), because external conditions devastated the thinking process and directed the mind to only survival efforts. B Private Notebooks 1914-1916 b By Ludwig Wittgenstein (Translated and edited by Marjorie Perloff) (Liveright, 2022) B Bauman: A Biography b By Izabela Wagner (Polity Press, 2020) In this essay, I reflect on the relationship between theoretical contemplation and the engagements in the Lifeworld among the two great thinkers, Ludwig Wittgenstein and Zygmunt Bauman. Wittgenstein was the product of Western culture and his social class; writing a diary was quite common in the middle and high classes, as was the idea of self-development.[1] Wittgenstein's family was rooted in the European cultural tradition.
