Abstract
The article discusses a federal judge's dismissal of a defamation lawsuit filed by Devin Nunes, the former California congressman and current CEO of Trump Media and Technology Group, against NBCUniversal. U.S. District Judge Kevin Castel ruled that no reasonable jury could find that Rachel Maddow acted with actual malice when she commented on Nunes' handling of a package from Andrii Derkach, a pro-Russia Ukrainian legislator, during a segment on MSNBC. The judge noted that Nunes failed to provide evidence that Maddow was aware of the package being turned over to the FBI or that her political bias led her to disregard the truth. The case is identified as Nunes v NBCUniversal Media Inc in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. [Extracted from the article]
