Abstract
Eight watches from the collection of Michael Schumacher, the seven-time Formula One champion, will be auctioned by Christie's in Geneva. The collection includes a unique F.P. Journe Vagabondage 1 Model from 2004 that commemorates each of Schumacher's F1 championship wins. Other notable watches include an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak chronograph and Schumacher's own 'Paul Newman' Rolex Daytona. The auction is set to take place on May 13 and is expected to fetch millions of Swiss francs. Schumacher retired from racing in 2012 and suffered a severe brain injury in 2013.
