Abstract
The article reports on the death of Malcolm-Jamal Warner, known for his role as Theodore "Theo" Huxtable on "The Cosby Show," who drowned in Costa Rica at age 54. Warner gained early fame with an Emmy nomination in 1986 and later appeared in shows such as "Grown-ish," "9-1-1," and "Alert: Missing Persons Unit," while also co-hosting the podcast "Not All Hood," which discussed Black experiences in the U.S. He received a Grammy in 2015 and an NAACP Image Award in 2012 for his work in music and television. Numerous colleagues and public figures expressed condolences, highlighting Warner's impact on redefining Black boyhood on screen and his contributions to entertainment.
