Abstract

The author shares ethical, practical and moral perspectives about the assisted dying bill in the United Kingdom. Topics discussed include concerns that the standard of palliative care will decline, community nurses' experiences of good deaths and views about euthanasia, and the top five regrets of the dying based on research by Bronnie Ware.
