Abstract

A personal narrative is presented which explores the author's experience of visiting places in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts where his ancestor, Thomas Greenough, had been, including the Mayhew Chapel used by the Wampanoags and a pond where Greenough lived when the selectman took his land.
