Abstract
The family of Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin has donated $15.5 million to the Singapore American School, the largest gift in the school's history. The donation will support the creation of new play spaces, STEM labs, and other improvements at a new elementary school. It will also aid a Chinese immersion program and other strategic priorities. Saverin, who renounced his US citizenship in 2011, is estimated to have a wealth of about $30.5 billion. The Singapore American School, founded in 1956, has a campus for about 4,000 students and charges high school students about $49,000 per year. [Extracted from the article]
