Abstract
In this interview with AARP Bulletin, best-selling writer John Grisham discusses his new book, Framed, which examines real-life cases of wrongful convictions. Grisham expresses his frustration with the number of innocent people in prison and highlights the deliberate lawbreaking and malfeasance that occurs in these cases. He suggests several measures that could prevent wrongful convictions, such as eliminating snitch testimony and requiring the filming of all interrogations. Grisham also reflects on his own experience as a lawyer and shares his writing process and personal interests. He expresses cautious optimism about the future and emphasizes the importance of considering the world we leave behind for future generations. [Extracted from the article]
