Abstract
The article discusses political issues in Africa, particularly on how the various coup d'états reflect political dysfunctions in democracy. Also cited are how the coups could reverse economic and political progress in countries like Mali, Ghana, and Gabon, and how said coups could impact the citizens' faith in democracy and support authoritarianism.
