Abstract
This article explores the growing popularity of health and longevity podcasts, highlighting figures like Peter Attia, Andrew Huberman, and Eric Topol, who offer differing approaches to extending “healthspan.” Attia emphasizes proactive medical care, fitness, and patient-focused strategies; Huberman blends neuroscience with practical lifestyle advice; and Topol focuses on emerging technologies and genetic insights. The piece also examines extremes in the longevity movement, such as Bryan Johnson’s multi-million-dollar anti-aging regimen, which pushes the boundaries of what is practical or evidence-based. While acknowledging the risks of overzealous biohacking, the author finds value in using these voices as motivation for balanced, sustainable health habits.
