Abstract
The article explores the impact of biophilic design and nature of light on human habitat and well-being. It categorizes biophilic design into natural elements and sensory experience of them, indirect experience of nature, and experience of space and place. It discusses the importance of biophilic design and natural light to sleep-wake cycles, eye health and light sensitivity that can affect perception. It encourages the incorporation of biophilic lighting into everyday spaces like home offices.
