Abstract

The article focuses on recent advancements in nanotechnology and cellular biotechnology that are transforming skin cancer treatment by enabling more precise, personalized, and effective therapies. Nanotechnology facilitates targeted drug delivery, enhanced imaging, and real-time treatment monitoring through smart nanoparticles and theranostic systems, while cellular biotechnology—including gene editing tools like CRISPR-Cas9 and immune engineering approaches such as CAR-T cell therapy—enhances immune-based treatments. The integration of these fields shows promise for overcoming limitations of traditional therapies, particularly in advanced or resistant skin cancers, though challenges remain in safety, manufacturing scalability, and regulatory oversight. Emerging diagnostic innovations, including nanoparticle-based imaging and liquid biopsies, support earlier detection and personalized treatment strategies. Continued interdisciplinary research and robust regulatory frameworks are emphasized as essential for advancing these technologies into clinical practice.
