Abstract
Brookfield Infrastructure Partners LP and its partners have agreed to acquire Colonial Enterprises Inc., the operator of the largest fuel pipeline in the US, for $500 million. The Colonial Pipeline spans 5,500 miles from Texas to New York and is a crucial source of gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel for the East Coast. The deal, which includes debt financing from Morgan Stanley and Mizuho Bank Ltd., is set to close in the second half of 2025. Financial advisors to Brookfield include Jefferies LLC, Greenhill & Co., and Morgan Stanley, with legal advice provided by Kirkland & Ellis LLP. [Extracted from the article]
