Abstract

Management of construction projects at a strategic level requires managers of the managerial degree to adopt an appropriate structure for their implementation. The choice of the method of execution of the works is determined by many factors, among others the deadline for their completion and the availability of the means of production. These factors are directly reflected in the monotonicity of the basic indicators of the earned value method, used to assess the progress of works implementation, in selected periods of their control. The article attempts to analyze the sensitivity of the Earned Value Indicator (BCWP -- Budget Cost of Work Performed) in the EVM method, depending on the adopted structure of implementation of a construction project, using the original concept of monitoring deviations from the assumed duration. In the study of the degree of sensitivity of the analyzed indicator, an example of construction of a multi-family housing development was used. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
