Abstract
A study conducted by the University of Science and Technology Beijing explores the relationship between the portrayal of female imagery in online social media advertisements, consumer behavior, and psychological unease in the online community. The study focuses on female consumers and uses a comprehensive questionnaire survey to examine the interaction between consumer self-behavior, the image presented in product advertising, and purchase intention. The findings reveal that a significant number of consumers perceive a congruence between the imagery in the advertisements and their self-image, leading to a desire to acquire the advertised products. The study suggests that these insights can inform the sustainable development of the green consumption economy in online social media. [Extracted from the article]
