Abstract

Walgreens has partnered with Dion's Chicago Dream to address the issue of food insecurity in the Chicagoland area. Through this collaboration, over 275 households and approximately 1,000 residents of Chicago will receive fresh produce every week for a year. The goal of this partnership is to improve health outcomes, create jobs, and promote health equity by addressing food security through last-mile delivery and logistics. This initiative aligns with the mission of the Walgreens Foundation, which is committed to supporting the health and well-being of the communities it serves, including its corporate hometown of Chicago.
