It is 4.30am on Wednesday 29 March 2023. I've been awake for the past hour thinking about work yesterday and the shift in two hours that I must get ready for. My scrubs hang on the back of the bedroom door, my lunch is in the fridge, and my equipment bag is on the floor by the front door. I'm so tired, yet I can't sleep.
