Abstract

Traditional employee engagement surveys are not effectively improving employee engagement, with only 23% of the global workforce and 32% of the U.S. workforce reporting being actively engaged. These surveys have inherent flaws and can be costly. Instead, organizations should consider using nontraditional key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure engagement. These nontraditional KPIs focus on team success, innovation and new ideas, and trends. By incorporating these metrics into surveys, organizations can better understand their employees and improve engagement. [Extracted from the article]
