Abstract
This article summarizes recent research findings relevant to business leadership, employee engagement, innovation, marketing, and negotiation strategies. Key insights include the financial and reputational benefits of actively publicizing new CEO appointments, a method to increase women’s applications for top jobs by explicitly citing gender gaps, and the mixed effects of complex team rituals on employee engagement. It also highlights that lower AI literacy correlates with greater openness to AI use, and that low-trust negotiators can achieve higher joint gains through skepticism and rigorous questioning. Additional findings note that smiling in profile photos can increase Airbnb bookings, while most consumers are unwilling to pay extra for AI features.
