Abstract

The article discusses the challenges faced by leaders in creating hybrid work policies that balance the desire for employees to work in the office with the need for flexibility. The authors present findings from a survey conducted at Ernst & Young LLP (EY U.S.) that compared the experiences of hybrid, fully in-person, and fully remote employees. The data showed that employees who spent 40% to 60% of their time in person reported higher well-being, belonging, skills development, and engagement. The article also highlights the importance of team-led models and provides a framework for team discussions on setting norms and habits for hybrid work. [Extracted from the article]
