Abstract
The article discusses how Canadians are shifting away from traveling to the U.S. due to President Trump's trade war, leading airlines to reduce U.S. routes and focus more on domestic flights. Data shows a decrease in car crossings into Washington state from B.C. and fewer future air travel bookings to the U.S. There are calls for federal leaders to investigate Canada's aviation sector and potentially subsidize airlines to fly unprofitable routes to smaller Canadian centers. The article also highlights changes in airline routes and frequencies to cater to the shifting travel patterns of Canadians. [Extracted from the article]
