Abstract
This article focuses on the importance of professional registration and development within BAE Systems Naval Ships, a company specializing in complex naval engineering projects. The company emphasizes achieving high competency standards through professional registration across various disciplines, including engineering, physics, mathematics, environmental science, and IT, to ensure safety and quality in its products. To support this, BAE Systems Naval Ships has implemented initiatives such as centralized payment schemes for professional memberships, mentorship programs, and a professional registration working group, while recently becoming an organizational member of BCS (British Computer Society) to further enhance professional standards and access IT certifications. These efforts aim to meet customer demands for suitably qualified personnel and provide clear career progression and recognition for employees.
