Abstract
The article focuses on the development and assessment of a novel mobile application, “Sehhat Tefly,” designed to provide comprehensive well-baby clinic services for children under five in Egypt. Following a review of existing Arabic-language apps, which were found to lack interactivity, scientific basis, and comprehensive coverage, the study conducted an online survey of 374 mothers that indicated strong demand for an app addressing physical growth, developmental milestones, immunizations, nutrition, and safety. The resulting app integrates these components along with caregiver information and health education videos, aiming to support child health monitoring. Further research is recommended to evaluate the app’s accessibility, usability, and potential barriers for users.
