Abstract
The article focuses on the strategic transformation of Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), a global agricultural products and services company, under its CEO since 2014. ADM shifted from primarily trading commodities to developing value-added nutrition products and services, organized into three segments: agricultural services and oilseeds, carbohydrate solutions, and nutrition. The company aligned its strategy with three global macro trends—food security, sustainability, and health and well-being—and invested in innovation, acquisitions, and operational improvements to enhance customer focus and financial performance. ADM also emphasizes culture, digital technologies, climate action, and consumer engagement as key priorities for its future growth.
