Abstract
The article focuses on the American Hospital Association's (AHA) analysis linking improvements in patient safety and quality of care to enhanced nursing workforce engagement, resilience, and a strong culture of safety. Using data from the Press Ganey National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators, the AHA found that patients' confidence and likelihood to recommend healthcare settings were strongly influenced by staff teamwork and visible safety practices. The report highlights significant differences in employee engagement between hospitals with high versus low safety culture scores and emphasizes ongoing hospital commitments to improving patient and workforce experiences through communication, risk management, and innovative strategies.
