Abstract
The article focuses on how legacy performance metrics can hinder organizational transformation in the emerging "transformation age," where strategy is executed through dynamic, project-driven initiatives. It argues that traditional KPIs—such as utilization, cost containment, and throughput—are insufficient for measuring success in this environment and proposes a shift to project-driven KPIs that emphasize value delivery, speed, strategic alignment, and team health. The author introduces a project-driven scorecard and dashboard system designed to provide real-time, actionable insights across these four dimensions, enabling leaders to steer transformation efforts effectively. This approach also calls for evolving leadership roles and incentive structures to support continuous transformation as an integral part of organizational strategy.
