Abstract

The article focuses on the employee selection process at Atlas Textile Exports Pvt Ltd in Karur, examining its effectiveness and fairness. It defines selection as the procedure of choosing suitable candidates for job vacancies to enhance organizational productivity and reduce turnover. Using primary data from 150 respondents and statistical analyses such as chi-square, correlation, and ANOVA, the study finds overall satisfaction with the selection process and highlights a significant relationship between selection practices and obtaining the right candidates. The article suggests modernizing recruitment techniques, encouraging employee referrals, and improving retention strategies to further enhance the selection process.
