Abstract
The article focuses on research examining the impact of e-cigarette and cannabis content exposure on social media among adolescents in California. Conducted by the University of Southern California, the study involved two surveys assessing associations between social media exposure and substance use among high school students. Findings indicated that frequent exposure to e-cigarette and cannabis posts was linked to increased initiation of e-cigarette, cannabis, and dual use. The research suggests that enhancing social media guidelines and policies could help mitigate youth substance use. [Extracted from the article]
