Abstract

O.J. Simpson, a former football star, was acquitted in 1995 for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. However, he was found liable for their deaths in a civil suit and ordered to pay damages. Simpson later faced legal troubles, including a conviction for armed robbery and kidnapping in 2008. He spent the remainder of his life trying to evade payment for the damages. Simpson's trial shed light on domestic violence as an issue, but his legacy remains complicated. He passed away at the age of 76 from prostate cancer. [Extracted from the article]
