Abstract
The article focuses on *Schoolhouse Rock!*, an animated musical television series for children that aired from 1973 to 2009. Created by advertising executive David McCall, the series aimed to teach educational subjects such as mathematics, grammar, science, history, civics, and economics through catchy songs. Inspired by McCall’s observation that his son struggled with multiplication but easily remembered song lyrics, *Schoolhouse Rock!* used music as a tool to enhance learning and retention. The series is noted for its innovative approach to education, combining entertainment with foundational teaching in various school subjects. [Extracted from the article]
