Abstract

This article discusses the use of flags as symbols by far-right groups in the United States. It highlights various flags that have been co-opted by these groups, such as the Betsy Ross flag, the Pine Tree flag, and the American flag flown upside down. The article also explores the meanings behind other symbols, including the Christian flag, the Celtic Cross, the Black Sun, and the fasces. It concludes by mentioning flags associated with specific white supremacist groups, such as Patriot Front and the Groypers, as well as the online phenomenon of the "Kek" flag. The article provides a comprehensive guide to understanding these symbols and their significance in extremist ideology. [Extracted from the article]
