Abstract
The article argues that democracy in the United States is threatened by a persistently misinformed electorate whose loyalty to President Donald Trump has been shaped by decades of ideological messaging, media influence, and political resentment. It traces how pro business propaganda, culture war strategies, and failures by Democratic leadership allowed misinformation to harden into long term belief systems that resist factual correction.
