Abstract

The article focuses on a study examining the impact of bumper sticker slogans on aggressive driving behavior in China. Conducted by researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the study found that provocative slogans led to higher levels of blame judgment, negative emotion, and aggressive driving compared to conciliatory slogans. The research involved 233 participants who responded to scenarios while viewing different slogans, revealing that blame judgment and negative emotion mediated the relationship between the slogans and aggressive driving behavior. The findings aim to inform the design of bumper stickers and guide drivers in selecting appropriate slogans. [Extracted from the article]
