Abstract

An interview with Emily Knox, a professor and board president of the National Coalition Against Censorship, is presented. Topics include surge in book bans in America. The politicization of book challenges, particularly concerning diverse topics and communities, is also explored, with the pandemic and social media contributing to the current landscape of censorship.
