Abstract
The article focuses on the various non-headache symptoms associated with migraines, which affect nearly 40 million people in the U.S. Neurologists highlight that migraines can present with a range of symptoms beyond the commonly recognized throbbing headache, including food cravings, vision changes, sensory sensitivity, motor changes, and abdominal pain. For instance, food cravings often occur in the prodrome phase, while visual auras can manifest as temporary vision disturbances. Additionally, some individuals may experience increased sensitivity to sensory stimuli or even motor changes in rare cases, such as hemiplegic migraines. Understanding these symptoms is crucial for accurate diagnosis and treatment. [Extracted from the article]
