Abstract
This study investigates quality of life (QoL) and its influencing factors among patients with cervical spondylosis (CS) undergoing acupuncture treatment in China. Using multiple validated questionnaires, the research found that lifestyle, health behavior, social support, and knowledge about CS significantly and positively predicted QoL, while poorer sleep quality, measured by the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), negatively predicted QoL. Mental stress was not a significant predictor in this population. These findings suggest that interventions targeting lifestyle improvements, health behaviors, social support enhancement, and patient education about CS may help improve QoL for individuals receiving acupuncture for CS.
