Abstract
The article discusses the role of Latrophilin-3 (LPHN3) in tyrosine hydroxylase neurons and its association with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Researchers developed global and conditional Lphn3 knockout rats to study cognitive and behavioral effects. Both knockout rat models exhibited hyperactivity and navigation deficits, with the global knockout rats showing more severe impairments. The study suggests that LPHN3 disruption may impact neuroplasticity related to ADHD. [Extracted from the article]
