Abstract

This article focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of an integrative medical protocol, including acupuncture and psychological support, within in vitro fertilization (IVF) programs at the Special Hospital in Belgrade. The protocol aimed to reduce stress, promote homeostasis, and improve IVF outcomes in 18 infertile couples by combining conventional treatments with natural therapies, diet, supplements, and mind–body techniques. Results showed that 88% of participants experienced significant stress reduction, improved quality of life, better physiological responses, and enhanced psychological well-being, leading to a 16% increase in IVF success and a 22% improvement in pregnancy rates. The study highlights the role of integrative medicine in supporting the physical and emotional aspects of infertility treatment to improve overall IVF effectiveness.
