Abstract
This article focuses on a pilot study evaluating the safety and efficacy of intralesional injection of crosslinked hyaluronic acid (HA) combined with penile modeling and stretching for treating chronic phase Peyronie's Disease (PD). The study involved 21 men who completed the protocol of three HA injections over six weeks, along with daily vacuum device use and self-modeling. Results showed a significant reduction in penile curvature by an average of 11.9 degrees and improvements in intercourse satisfaction and symptom bother scores. The authors report no conflicts of interest and intend to continue research to assess patient satisfaction and potential reduction in surgical interventions.
