Abstract
This article focuses on the development and implementation of an information-based nursing quality control system integrated with lean management principles to improve nursing quality and patient safety. The system involves digitizing nursing quality control scoring standards, creating a database for inspection data, and using computer analysis to identify and address quality issues efficiently. A study conducted with 100 patients before and after implementation showed significant improvements in nursing quality scores, reduced adverse nursing events, increased patient satisfaction, and greater efficiency in inspection processes. While the findings suggest that combining lean management with informatization enhances nursing quality control, the study’s limited sample size and single-hospital setting in China indicate that further research is needed to confirm generalizability and effectiveness in broader contexts.
