Abstract
The article focuses on the role of smartphones in modern conflicts, particularly in Ukraine, where they have become vital tools for both civilians and soldiers in gathering and sharing intelligence. Civilians, like Vladyslav Morozov, use apps such as eVorog to report enemy movements, contributing to Ukraine's military operations through a process known as the kill chain, which involves identifying, tracking, and engaging targets. The article highlights the bravery of civilians participating in this intelligence effort, as well as the risks they face, including potential legal repercussions and the danger of being targeted by enemy forces. Additionally, it discusses the dual-edged nature of smartphone use, which can also inadvertently aid the opposing side in their military strategies. [Extracted from the article]
