Abstract

The article focuses on the challenges police organizations face due to advancements in information and communication technology and the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, which have altered social relationships and increased online fraud. It emphasizes the need for police to develop core capabilities in problem-oriented governance to effectively address complex and unprecedented crime issues emerging during this period. The article advocates for police innovation through collaboration with stakeholders beyond traditional law enforcement and the creation of consolidated database systems to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of anticrime efforts.
