Abstract

This section offers updates on digital typography, typesetting and the TeX world as of September 2025. Topics include the introduction of \DocumentMetadata in 2022 to provide a dedicated place for document-wide settings and meta data and to act as a trigger command to identify documents that want to load new code, compatibility of classes and packages with the tagging support code, and symbolic structure names.
