Abstract

This article observes the philosophical practices of users who digest, discuss and meme Deleuze in online platforms like Reddit, Instagram, Discord and Substack. It invokes chapters from Deleuze's works The Logic of Sense (1990 [1969]) and Difference and Repetition (1994 [1968]), as well as the essay 'The Exhausted' (1995 [1992]), to interrogate the philosophical methods of these users in the context of Deleuzian thought. In doing so, the article intends to dissect these contemporary and subcultural streams of Deleuzian influence by developing a productive entanglement between online content, critical theory, and the perspective of the author as 'lurker'.
