Abstract

A study conducted by researchers from Islamic Azad University in Zahedan, Iran, examined the effect of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) on the attention and aggression of high school students in Kerman. The study included 45 male and female students, with 15 of them randomly assigned to one of three groups: control, experimental group 1 (NLP), or group 2 (CBT). The results showed that both NLP and CBT interventions led to lower levels of anxiety and stress in students compared to the control group. However, the NLP method was found to be more effective in reducing stress and depression. The study suggests that cognitive-behavioral training can be used to improve the mental health and academic performance of students. [Extracted from the article]
