Abstract
The article focuses on the significant enhancements to multitasking in iPadOS 26, which is now accessible to all compatible iPads, including those with A-series processors. Users are prompted to enable multitasking upon updating, with a streamlined interface that resembles macOS, featuring traffic light-colored circles for window management. Key improvements include the removal of the four-app limit previously imposed by Stage Manager, allowing for more flexible multitasking, and the introduction of Background Tasks, enabling apps to perform longer tasks while users engage with other applications. The article provides a step-by-step guide on how to effectively utilize the new multitasking features. [Extracted from the article]
