Abstract

This article reports on the working research paper “Making the Invisible Hand Visible: Managers and the Allocation of Workers to Jobs,” by Virginia Minni. This article highlights the research conducted by Minni classifying and identifying good managers and their impact on their organizations. The research looks to earnings of employees who worked for these managers and productivity, both investigated after the good managers leave the company to determine lasting impact.
