Abstract
The article focuses on the successful rescue of 41 construction workers who were trapped in the Silkyara tunnel in Northern India for 17 days following a collapse. Rescuers used manual drilling techniques to reach the workers after initial machinery failures delayed the operation. The workers, primarily young migrant laborers from various Indian states, survived on limited food supplies and were eventually extracted safely, receiving a warm welcome from officials upon their release. Health facilities were prepared to care for the workers, who are reported to be in fair health after their ordeal. [Extracted from the article]
